The Daily Sentinel Man stabbed at local bar By Dewayne Patterson Published December 8, 2009 A Section man remained in jail Monday after being accused of cutting a man at a local night club Saturday night.Sgt. Scott Matthews of the Scottsboro Police Department said Brian Graden, 35, of Section was arrested Monday morning and charged with Assault Second Degree. Graden is accused of allegedly cutting a 41-year-old Scottsboro male Saturday night in the Wild Horse Saloon on South Broad Street. “The victim suffered wounds to the back of his neck and back,” Matthews said. The victim was treated at the scene by Scottsboro Fire Department and Highlands Ambulance Service personnel. He was later flown to Huntsville Hospital by Air-Evac. “His injuries are not life threatening,” Matthews, who didn’t release the victim’s name, said. The victim received almost 80 staples in his back and neck. Graden was expected to be transferred to the Jackson County Jail Monday to await bond. Copyright © 2010 The Daily Sentinel |
