An investigation by Jackson County Sheriff's deputies Travis Renfro and Bobby Wilbanks led to the arrests of three people early Sunday in Pisgah.

Chief Deputy Chuck Phillips said the deputies contacted Cpt. Eric Woodall, a certified lab technician, in order to obtain a search warrant at a residence on County Road 339 in Pisgah.

“After conducting the search in the early morning hours, deputies located a meth lab and a finished product of meth inside,” Phillips said.

Chasity Nicole Ellison, 29, of Bryant, Jeremy Underwood, 32, of Pisgah, and Joseph Ryan West, 23, of Higdon, were each arrested and charged with Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance First Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

West received an additional charge on a warrant for failure to appear on Possession of Marijuana Second Degree charges.

Ellison and Underwood are currently out of jail on bond. West remained in the Jackson County Jail Monday morning.
