The Daily Sentinel Hal Vaughndell Kirby Hal Vaughndell Kirby, 76, of Macedonia, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Collinsville Nursing Home.Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 4, from Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shannon Williams officiating. Burial followed in Section Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Kirby is survived by his wife, Joyce Kirby; children, Bruce Kirby of Dutton and Teresa Kerns of Macedonia; grandchildren, Rodney Kerns of Roseau, Mominica, Nikki Kerns of Tampa, Fla., Patrick Kirby of Section and Sherry and Jeremy Luse of Section; great-grandchildren, Jada Luse, Jenna Luse, Makayla Kirby, Leigha Kirby and Cailei Kirby.
