Corrine Hanback Mansell
Corrine Hanback Mansell, 85, of Phenix City passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at VistaCare Hospice in Columbus, Ga. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 1 p.m. from Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro. Rev Travis Wilson and Rev. Lloyd Gibbs, nephews of Mrs. Mansell will officiate the services. Scottsboro Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Mansell was born May 22, 1924 in Waterloo. She was the daughter of Turner and Sue Hanback. She was currently residing at Lakewood Senior Living and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church of Phenix City.
Mrs. Mansell is survived by son, Tom Mansell, Jr. and wife Deanna Daily Mansell of Bedford, Texas.; her daughter, Deby M. Caldwell and husband Dr. Holley G. Caldwell of Crawford; three grandchildren, Thomas Joshua Caldwell and wife Katie Evans Caldwell of Jackson, Miss.; Tyler Caldwell Mansell and Sarah Elizabeth Mansell of Bedford, Texas.; sister, Ruth Ledgewood and husband William Ledgewood of Huntsville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Thomas O. Mansell of Crawford and two sisters Oneata Gibbs and Lucile Young of Florence.
