Scottsboro man faces multiple charges

Scottsboro Police arrested a man wanted in two other Alabama cities Wednesday.

Ray Allen Carter, 40, of Scottsboro, who was using the alias of Andrew Carter was arrested after department investigators received information that Carter was using false identification in the city. He was arrested in the 400 block of South Houston Street.

Carter, who also faces charges in Homewood and Killen, was charged with identity theft, use of false identification to obstruct justice, five counts of second degree forgery and two counts of possession of a forged instrument second degree.
