Fackler man facing drug charges

A Fackler man remained in the Jackson County Jail Monday, awaiting bond, after being charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance late Saturday night.

According to Capt. Chuck Phillips, investigator Craig Holcomb's investigation led to a search warrant at a residence on County Road 39 in the Crow Mountain community.

With assistance from Marine Police Officer Scott Kellenberger, deputies arrested Sam James "Crockett" Long III, 58.

Long was charged with being in possession of Hydrocodone and meth.
