Velma Marie Glass
Velma Marie Glass, 94, of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 1, at 2 p.m. from Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro with Rev. Pete Hass officiating. Burial will follow in Gant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
Mrs. Glass is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Betty and Jim Clark, Joyce Young and Jewel McCarver; grandchildren, Diane Blizzard, Kevin and Debbie Clark, Marlene and Steve Thrasher, Jeff and Kim Glass, Tina and John Kasmeier, Waylon Turner and Lance Greene; great-grandchildren, Robert Glass, Trey Blizzard, Drew Farmer, Blake Kasmeier and Josh Kasmeier; great-great-grandchildren, Kindra Glass and Gracie Glass; special friends, Irene Berry, Frances Florence and Doris and Jerry Adkins; and daughter-in-law, Carol Glass and sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loys Nat Glass; parents, JOhnand Mamie Walden; sons, J.L. Glass, Kenneth Eugene Glass Sr. and Billy Ray Glass; and grandson, Kenneth Eugene Glass Jr.
