Mary Imogene Rush Wilson

Mary Imogene Rush Wilson, 87, of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Highlands Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6, at 1 p.m. at Chaney's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Rickie Rush and Dewayne Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in Chaney's Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, from Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The body will lie-in-state from 12 until 1 p.m. on Friday, November 6, at Chaney's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Randall Rush, Neil Wilson, Scott Wilson, Chris Blackwell, Michael Blackwell and Mike Wilson.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Delane Plemons of Scottsboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Peggy Wilson of Atlanta, Ga. and Kenneth Wayne and Joyce Wilson of Dutton' sister, Gaynell Nichols of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Pam Plemons Blackwell of Harvest, Robert Neal Wilson of McDonough, Ga., Jason Scott Wilson of Macedonia and Didi Wilson Barron of Section; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wilson; parents, George Earl and Obera Rush; sister, Pauline Wilson; and brother, Earl Rush Jr.

She was the owner and operator of the Wig Villa and was a member of the Chaney's Chapel United Methodist Church.
