Six facing variety of drug charges

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office investigators completed two investigations Tuesday, resulting in the arrests of six people on various drug charges in separate incidents.

Four people were arrested following a search warrant at a residence on Highway 71 in Flat Rock Tuesday morning.

Bradley Waldrop, 41, of Bryant was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone).

Kathy Allison, 48, of Flat Rock was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam and Lyrica).

Gary Estes, 47, of Trenton, Ga. was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth, Clonazapam and Carosoprodol).

Steven Tucker, 41 of Flat Rock was charged with Possession of Marijuana Second Degree.

In a separate incident Tuesday afternoon, investigators conducted a search warrant at a residence on Old Larkinsville Road in Scottsboro.

Rachel Dean, 18, of Scottsboro and Joe Joyner, 22, of Scottsboro were both arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana First Degree.

Investigators also seized $1,581 in cash from the residence.

Sheriff Dennis Miller said Joiner was on probation and house arrest prior to Tuesday’s arrest.

“We’re looking at additional charges on Joyner,” Miller said.

As of Wednesday morning, all six suspects in both incidents remained in the Jackson County Jail awaiting bond to be set.
