Carter Lee Ivey
Carter Lee Ivey, 84, of Fackler, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 3, from Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Maynor and Rev. Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial followed in Austell Cemetery.
Mr. Ivey is survived by his children, Dennis and Pam Ivey of Jacksonville, Fla., Doyle and Anita Ivey of Huntland, Tenn. and Tammy and Todd Ivey Robinson of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Bradley Ivey of Skyline, Tabitha Ivey of Grant, Sam Robinson of Franklin, Tenn., Jason Alexander of Jacksonville, Fla. and Matthew Alexander of Jacksonville, Fla.; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters, Edna Mae Gilliam of Hollywood, Mildred Joyce Cunningham of Skylie, Wilma Dean Arnold of Skyline, Allie Ruth Little of Crow Mountain, Nellie Marie Dodson of Scottsboro, Erskin Van Ivey of Crow Mountain, and Jackson Dan Ivey of Crow Mountain.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Medley Ivey; brothers, James Ronald and Charley Don Ivey; and sister, Mary Lou Johnson.
