Mary Russell Grider Raulston
Mary Russell Grider Raulston, age 82, of Stevenson passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
Mary was the daughter of George Matt and Sophia Ann “Annie” Rorex Grider. She was born May 22, 1927 in Bridgeport, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Raulston was preceded in death by her husband Russell Crownover “R.C.” Raulston; daughter, Patricia Ann Raulston; parents; siblings, Rorex Grider, Audie Phillips, Bud Grider, Kate Grider, Mack Grider, and Tom (Mary Ruth “Doll”) Grider.
She is survived by her children, Sharon (Terry) Allison, Gary (Marlene) Raulston; grandchildren, Haley (Chris) Thomas, Amy Allison, Whitney Raulston, Nick Raulston and Nate Raulston; great grandchildren, Boone Thomas and Drake Thomas, all of Stevenson; sister, Betty (Tal) Thomas of Scottsboro; and many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Rice officiating.
Interment will be a Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
