A Trenton, Ga. woman wanted on warrants in Jackson County was apprehended Thursday.
Chief Deputy Chuck Phillips said deputies Steve Whritenour and Dennis Blevins received information on the location of Jennifer Noel Lawson, 24 at a residence on County Road 139 in Bryant.
“We’ve been looking for her for some time,” said Phillips.
Lawson was wanted on charges of Assault Second Degree and Criminal Mischief Second Degree.
She received an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance at the time of her arrest after deputies located a syringe loaded with meth.
Lawson remained in the Jackson County Jail Friday morning.
