Florence Peek Overdear
Florence Peek Overdear, 95, of Henagar, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6, at 2 p.m. from Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Watson Williams and Rev. Jeff Watkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Liberty cemetery.
Mrs. Overdear is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Dianne Overdear and Raymond Overdear; daughters and son-in-law, Joyce Bell and Sharon and Jerry Stiefel; brothers, Charlie, Grady and Hubert Peek; eight grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children's father, Harold D. Overdear; husband, Troy Fleming; parents, John and Alice Garren Peek; grandsons, Chad Ponder and Jeremy Stiefel; and sisters, Dellar, Ruth, Pearl and Johnnie.
