Janet Carol Jones
Janet Carol Jones, age 50, of Skyline passed away Wednesday December 16, 2009 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Hytop Holiness Church. The body will lie-in-state from 12-2 p.m.
Clergymen are Rev. Ray Davis, Rev. Shirley Byrum, and Rev. James "Totchie" McLain. Burial will follow in Sanders Mill Creek Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Ms. Jones is survived by her mother, Blanch Marie Jones, Skyline; nieces and nephews, Adrienne Denise and Nicholas Charles Wood of Scottsboro, Gregory Dwight Stephens, Port St. Lucie, Fla., Christy Gene Stephens, Hollytree; great nieces and great nephews, Chelsea Nicole Stephens, Mikayla Gail Stephens, and Jeremy Kendall Stephens, all of Hollytree; special aunts and uncles, special dog, Daisy Mae; and a host of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson W “Scooter” Jones; sister, Charlotte Diane Jones; brother, Anthony Wilson Jones; grandparents, W.R. and Jessie Florence Jones and Jess and Maud Sanders.
Ms. Jones retired from Highlands Medical Center in 2008 after 33 years of service. She was a member of Hytop Free Holiness Church.
