NSM at Sylvania Gilbert calling for consistency from Bison

Posted: Friday, September 27, 2013 5:00 am

With just a little over two minutes left to play last week against Gaston, North Sand Mountain looked headed for its second Class 2A Region 7 loss.

The Bison trailed 20-9  following a Gaston touchdown with 2:25 remaining, but responded on the ensuing possession with a touchdown and two-point conversion to pull within 20-17 with 1:15 to go. The Bison then recovered an onside kick and ultimately scored the game-winning touchdown on Cody McBryar’s 22-yard touchdown pass to Dexx Walsh with 38 seconds left to play.
