Birmingham, Mobile newspaper buildings for sale

BIRMINGHAM (AP) — The corporate owners of The Birmingham News and the Mobile Press-Register are selling the newspapers' buildings.

The Alabama Media Group and Advance Central Services Alabama announced the plans in a story published Wednesday.

    Man, I wish I had enough $$ to buy Birmingham's building. It's gorgeous. So sad to see newspapers go but it's proof that we're moving forward technologically. There are always losses when progress is made.
