Bo Butler’s sportsmanship wasn’t the only thing on display the night the Scottsboro football team pulled off an impropable, even miraculous win over an unbeaten Albertville team nearly 17 years ago.

Quarterback Kent Latham’s last-second Hail Mary pass, after being tipped around, found the arms of Ben Sport for a 42-yard touchdown to give the Wildcats a 29-23 win.

Why not just throw him a parade? Despite popular belief playing sports doesn't make a person a hero. Selfless acts on the other hand do. Acts that Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, and Soldiers do every single day. Those are real heros. Not ball players.
