Gas prices jump nearly 25 cents per gallon in week

Locals pay national average per gallon, state lower at $3.28

Retail gasoline prices in Alabama rose almost 25 cents per gallon over the past week, according to AlabamaGasPrices.com and AAA.

Gas prices nationally rose 17 cents per gallon during the week to an average of $3.34. The average cost for a gallon of unleaded regular fuel is $3.28 per gallon in Alabama.
